The MA Frail Elder Waiver (FEW) provides home and community-based services for eligible individuals aged 60 and older, or those aged 60-64 with a disability. Participants can reside in their own homes or with family members but cannot live in institutional settings. Services include personalized support such as Alzheimer’s coaching, home health aide assistance, grocery shopping, and transportation. Each participant collaborates with a Case Manager to create a Comprehensive Service Plan tailored to their needs. The waiver aims to enhance the quality of life for seniors while promoting independence in the community.
